A representative from Veolia International and Laurant Auguste, President of Veolia Water America (a member of the delegation and Board Member of the Milwaukee Water Council) at the Ashkelon Desalination Plant. The plant is the largest in Israel and consortium between Veolia Environnement and IDE. The project at the time constructed was not only the largest desalination plant in the world but also the lowest cost desalination plant ($0.52 per cubic meter).
